【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatestherelativesensitivityofmaterialstomechanicalimpactinambientpressureliquidoxygen,pressurizedliquidoxygen,andpressurizedgaseousoxygen.Anychangeorvariationintestsampleconfiguration,thickness,preparation,orcleanlinessmaycauseasignificantchangeinimpactsensitivity/reactionthreshold.Suggestedcriteriafordiscontinuingthetestsare:(1)occurrenceoftworeactionsinamaximumof60samplesorlesstestedatthemaximumenergylevelof98J(72ftx2022;lbf)oronereactioninamaximumof20samplestestedatanyotherenergylevelforamaterialthatfails;(2)noreactionsfor20samplestestedatthe98-J(72-ftx2022;lbf)energylevel;or(3)amaximumofonereactionin60samplestestedatthemaximumenergylevel.1.1Thistestmethod178;describestestequipmentandtechniquestodeterminetheimpactsensitivityofmaterialsinoxygenundertwodifferentconditions:(1)inambientpressureliquidoxygen(LOX)or(2)underpressure-controlledconditionsinLOXorgaseousoxygen(GOX).ItisapplicabletomaterialsforuseinLOXorGOXsystemsatpressuresfromambientto68.9MPa(0to10000psig).Thetestmethoddescribedhereinaddressestestingwithpureoxygenenvironments;however,otheroxygen-enrichedfluidsmaybesubstitutedthroughoutthisdocument.1.2ThistestmethodprovidesameansforrankingnonmetallicmaterialsasdefinedinGuideG63foruseinliquidandgaseousoxygensystemsandmaynotbedirectlyapplicabletothedeterminationofthesensitivityofthematerialsinanend-useconfiguration.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoprovidebatch-tobatchacceptancedata.Thistestmethodmayprovideameansforevaluatingmetallicmaterialsinoxygen-enrichedatmospheresalso;however,GuideG94shouldbeconsultedforpreferredtestingmethods.1.3ValuesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeealsoSection9.
