【摘要】:Mostinter-tooldatatransferstandardsdealwithprotocolandsyntaxofthetransfer,withasharedsemanticbasisassumed.Thisstandardprovidesanexplicitlydefinedmetamodel(andmeta-metamodel)forspecifyingsystemandsoftwarebehavior.Itdefinesasemanticbasisofobservablesthatallowseachtool,whateveritsowninternalontology,tocommunicatefactsaboutthebehaviorofasubjectsystemaspreciselyasthetool’smetamodelallows.Conventionaltoolmodelelementsarereducedintosimpler,directlyobservablefactstatementsaboutsystembehavior.ThismetamodelismuchexpandedovertheoriginalmetamodelforsoftwarebehaviorinPart3ofIEEEStd1175?-1991.Thisreferencemodelprovidesacommoninterpretationbasisbywhichtoolsmayexpressandcommunicatetheobservablefeaturesofsystem/softwarebehaviortousersandtoothertools.Toolsincorporatingthismetamodelintheirimport/exportfacilitiesenableengineerstointerconnectbest-in-classanalysisandspecificationtoolsforintegratedproblemsolving.Anotherfeatureofthismetamodelisthatitprovidesaspecificationthatisdirectlytestable.Finally,theprovisionofanexplicitmeta-metamodelenablestoolbuilderstoextendthereferencemetamodelforparticularpurposes.
